Osteopathic Medicine
Osteopathy maintains that there is a reciprocal relationship between structure and function — namely, that an alteration in structure through injury will result in a change in function (an internal organ) and hence disease. Osteopathic physicians, through their intimate knowledge of anatomy, facilitate the recuperative powers of the body through treatment of the musculoskeletal system, along with dietary, postural and occupational advice. Listees in this category must have an accredited medical school degree from an osteopathic college of medicine.. See additional resources, licensing and training info
