Xuan Yun is also an ordained Daoist priest, trained in ritual arts, chanting, divination, and qigong. Based in Boston, Xuan Yun offers classes and workshops on traditional Wudang martial arts, qi gong, and Daoist philosophy. He also performs traditional Daoist blessing rituals (for births, weddings, new homes/businsses), and offers an annual spiritual tour back to Wudang Mountain.
