We all agree that we are supposed to eat a healthy diet, but with all of the conflicting information and fad diets out there, it can be hard to even know what that is. In this class we will talk about how to eat a more traditional diet with simple, unprocessed ingredients. We’ll also try some ‘medicinal’ foods together during the class (don’t worry, they won’t taste like medicine!)
During this class we will explore the following topics:
1. What are the basic concepts of healthy, clean eating?
2. What does Chinese medicine have to say about how to eat healthy?
3. What are some healing/medicinal foods for your body and why?
4. What are some of the misconceptions about healthy eating and fat & cholesterol in particular?
