8 Week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course with Erin Woo

Tuesdays, May 1 - June 19, 6–8:30 pm

*Includes an all day retreat on Saturday, June 9 from 9 am - 4 pm

Come explore the transformational power of mindfulness in a life-affirming and in-depth eight week course. Mindfulness is a means of tapping into and reclaiming our natural goodness and innate wisdom. A deepening awareness develops through mindfulness practice that strengthens our ability to truly enjoy our lives and to cope with the difficulties that inevitably arise. Over 30 years of clinical research demonstrates that MBSR reliably and profoundly alters the structure of the brain in such a way that quality of life, sense of wellbeing and physical health are improved. Note that this class has been selected by the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the University of San Francisco to participate in research on the effectiveness of MBSR. Participants will have the opportunity to opt in or out. Those who choose to participate will be paid $75.

Free orientation open to all on Tuesday, April 17 6-8pm

*Free pre-class orientation is required for participation in full 8 week session.
