A 90 minute group experience of yoga which will include learning the physical practice of poses (asana), how to train and use your breathing to curb anxiety, stress, and fatigue, and fun activities and discussion around the meanings and practices of mindfulness, focus, kindness, and self-compassion. No previous experience required and appropriate for teens ages 13–17.
Sessions are facilitated by Stephanie Coutant-Matsen, MSW, E-RYT. Stephanie is a certified yoga teacher since 2006 and has been teaching and practicing yoga for almost two decades. Stephanie is also a ChildLight Yoga certified teacher and has worked with a wide variety of populations (including her own three children/teens), teenagers being one of her favorites.
