We are going to adopt the focus of First Do No Harm a topic Ann Fonfa, our president has been speaking on and presenting posters about all throughouth 2011-2012. We are convening panels on insurance issues — we want to push for full insurance coverage for CAM and Integrative therapies. Otherwise they are not accessible to everyone. Compared to conventional therapies, most CAM is quite inexpensive unless it all comes out of your own pocket.
What is the point of insurance for many of us when it doesn't cover our healthcare needs? Let's start doing something about it.
