Interested in yoga but don't know where to begin? Have you tried yoga in the past but want to refamiliarize yourself with the practice? Looking for an understanding of the poses with a gentle, welcoming and accessible approach?

Join us for this four week series with the beginner in mind. Each practice will start with a yogic theme and brief centering. You will become more aware of your breathing and learn simple and effective breathing practices. Each week we will focus on gentle warm ups of the joints and movements of the spine as we explore the alignment of some of the more common poses and their variations. As we do so, yoga props, such as blocks and straps, will be introduced and modifications will be offered in order to support you. You will have choices and will feel empowered to do what feels best in your body. At the end of each practice, you will be guided into relaxation and a brief meditation.
Bring your questions and an open mind as you come to discover the power of the practice! All levels and abilities are welcome.
