Do you wonder if you are pronouncing the name of a Yoga pose correctly in Sanskrit? Do you wish you understood a few basic rules of how words get joined in Sanskrit?
In this workshop, we will review the names of common asanas, understand correct pronunciation, and split up those long tongue-twisters into simple words. The workshop will also include discussion around how to be respectful when incorporating aspects of Indian culture into yoga classes.
The experience will be interactive, with a few fun exercises thrown in. You will have an opportunity to email specific Sanskrit-related questions prior to the workshop.
