“Yoga seeks to enhance our strengths and root out the unhealthy thought patterns that are at the foundation of stress and suffering. Ultimately, we discover what it is to be balanced in our own unique way. We will most likely always have challenges before us, and Yoga gives us the tools to not only face such difficulties, but come through them having gained valuable lessons, greater Self-awareness, peace, and excitement about our purpose in life.” ~ Julie Rost

Julie Rost, Founder
Years of working in women’s reproductive health led to a three-year service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, Africa, where her experience with village doctors of traditional medicine catapulted her interest in studying the holistic and natural approaches of the Yoga lifestyle. She received her Classical Yoga and Yoga Therapy training from the YogaLife Institute in PA. Upon moving to NH in 2006, Julie founded the YogaLife Institute and is currently the Spiritual Director, teaching in its 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. Julie’s current offerings also include personal mentoring, virtual online Yoga Philosophy Courses, her blog about the connection between nature and Yoga living, as well as her YouTube channel to share all of the above!

Private Yoga Therapy (in person or online through Zoom)
We will most likely always have challenges before us, and Yoga gives us the tools to not only face such difficulties, but come through them having gained valuable lessons, greater Self-awareness, peace, and excitement about our purpose in life. “My first yoga therapy experience with Julie was warm, welcoming and eye opening. As the session unfolded, I found myself realizing threads and connections in my life with an awareness that was unexpected and empowering. The mind, body, & spirit yoga philosophy guided the discussion and physical practice, but it all melded as one rather than separate entities. By the end of the session it all came together in a seamless, flowing manner that felt personal and doable”. ~Carol
