The Past As Prologue: Why We Still Need Black History Month

The month of February dedicated to Black history continues to stir controversy. However, we can't continue to ignore the fact that although we have made progress towards racial unity, we still have ways to go towards racial harmony, understanding and tolerance, if not acceptance.

The newest rail trail in Massachusetts officially opened in late June, offering a fresh 4-1/2 mile pathway to explore on foot, bike, scooter or wheelchair. The Twin Cities Rail Trail was built on top of the former Fitchburg and Worcester Railroad.
