Most Americans are comfortable with cremation as a practice. They like the power that it gives them to inter the remains in the cemetery, keep them at home, or scatter them in forests, oceans and streams.
The more we avoid triggers or the feelings that arise when we are triggered, the more they limit our life and the more painful they become. Our lives and bodies want to bring these stuck parts of ourselves back into wholeness.
