Meditation Expert and Author · Fostering Specialist · Autism and ADHD

Lorraine E. Murray is dedicated to helping children, parents, and professionals discover the power of heart connection in meditation practice. With a background in meditation, healing modalities, and fostering, she shares practical, evidence-based methods to support children’s emotional well-being through mindful awareness and compassionate connection.

For over 2 decades, Lorraine has supported families, educators, and health professionals through her books, workshops, talks, and training programmes. She developed the Connected Kids Method, which is simple, accessible, and effective: heart-centred practices that use energy awareness, breath, imagination, and everyday moments to teach young people meditation skills. She combines the latest research on mindfulness and the nervous system with creative, child-friendly practices that anyone can use.

Lorraine is passionate about bridging the gap between evidence and lived experience. Whether guiding parents to bring mindful moments into family life or training people to become professionally certified meditation teachers for children and teens, she creates a safe and supportive space for lasting change.

Lorraine

Having spent 10 years fostering 17 children (aged 3 to 17), she brings her practical experience into her work. She also specialises in helping young people on the Autistic Spectrum, with ADHD or SEN.

Lorraine offers free insights through teaching sessions on the Insight Timer app (free) or Eventbrite events.

If you are seeking ways to calm stress, restore balance, and help children thrive, Lorraine offers guidance that is grounded, compassionate, and practical.
