In the early weeks of 1987 in a cozy little natural foods store in central Massachusetts, three friends lamented the lack of a local holistic magazine. "Why not publish one ourselves?" mused one. "Let's do it!" cried another. "I'll advertise!" declared the third, the owner of the store. And so the seed was planted for 7,500 copies of the very first issue of Spirit of Change to be delivered in October, 1987. Today Spirit of Change is independently published by founding publisher and editor Carol Bedrosian, and has grown to become New England's largest free holistic magazine; trusted and enjoyed by over 100,000 readers each twice-annually published issue for its commitment to publication quality and holistic living — look for the magazine each Spring and Fall.
Every issue, Spirit of Change provides our advertisers and readers with on-time distribution of 50,000 copies in New England, with the heaviest circulation in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our commitment to editorial integrity means that in each issue you will find only carefully selected, inspiring and informative articles written by professionals from the fields holistic health, spirituality, personal growth, green living and planetary transformation.
