Playing with Gaia…Discovering the Spirit of Mother Earth is an engaging storybook featuring the journeying of a little girl named Chloe. Awake on a beautiful Saturday morning, Chloe is disappointed that she doesn’t have a playmate to share the wonderful day with her. “Play with Gaia,” her mother advises. Chloe wants to know where she can find Gaia, and her mom explains that the Spirit of Mother Earth is everywhere. Chloe needs only to go outside and sit, and Gaia will be waiting. Chloe then is off on her adventure, looking for her magical new friend. She hunts for Gaia until she becomes quiet and notices the qualities of the rock she is sitting on. Suddenly becoming aware of all the living beauty surrounding her, Chloe finds Gaia. The colorful illustrations in this uplifting book capture Chloe doing yoga poses as she finds Gaia in the earth, in ladybugs and dogs and other animals, and in herself.
