The world is troubled. Benjamin Creme says help is on the way. The Awakening of Humanity revels that The World Teacher, Maitreya (head of an enlightened group known as the Masters of Wisdom), is here to help solve humanity’s problems. According to Creme, Maitreya will soon appear on a major television station telepathically reaching everyone in the world. Maitreya is waiting for the actual collapse of the world’s economic system — the great disease of humanity. A Day of Declaration will follow and every person will know his or her true purpose. Creme says a “window of opportunity” will open when humankind is ready. Maitreya — a spiritual teacher, not a religious teacher — will advise and guide, but will not direct peoples’ actions. Whether Maitreya speaks through television sets or not, his social message is worthy of attention; sharing the world’s resources more equitably, brotherhood, co-operation, justice and trust are the keys to creating a brilliant future.
